SENIOR STYLE GUIDE: 2020 HOT 100 RECIPIENT | EMILY MCGONIGLE PHOTOGRAPHY

OH. MY. GOSH. YOU GUYS!

Like every year, this year I entered the Senior Style Guide: Hot 100 contest, and today they announced the winners. Not only did we WIN… but we won MULTIPLE TIMES, which means for the first year ever we’ve hit ICON STATUS!!!!

(And yes… I mean WE… not ME… because I couldn’t do any of this without my wonderful clients. ❤️)

I won’t know which photos won until the magazine is released on January 15th, but I do know what category won: Studio

To celebrate, I wanted to share with you all the photos that were submitted this year! Have a look below:

STUDIO (WINNING CATEGORY)

THREE of the photos in this category placed in the Hot 100 this year, which lead to my being promoted to Icon Status. To achieve Icon Status, you must have more than 2 images win in the same category.

Once I find out which images placed, the students in those images will receive her own copy of the SSG Hot 100 issue with her image printed!

URBAN

COMMUNITY CHOICE

Not only were the above images entered into their respective categories, but all images submitted this year were also automatically entered into a Community Choice category where all the SSGH100 participants got to vote for their favorite photographs made by their peers… AND WE WON IN THAT CATEGORY TOO!!!!

What an AWESOME way to end this year! It’s been a rough one for all of us, but if this isn’t a sign of how awesome 2021 is going to be… I don’t know WHAT is. 😉

And speaking of awesome things in 2021… I’m about to launch my 2021 Senior Model Program for the class of 2022! That’s right friends, it’s back!
